About Mary Morgaine Thames

an eARTh Dancer

… moving along with the trials and triumphs this life on earth gives, with as much inspiration, awareness and gratitude as possible, always seeking to learn a new step or twist along the way.

Raised in rural South Carolina, Mary Morgaine left her southern home in 1992 to attend Fairhaven College in Bellingham, Washington, where she received her BA in journalism, sustainable living and creative expression. It was there she became aware of her love affair with yoga and the plant world and especially with the Spirit that moves in all things. These romances have only heightened over the past two decades as she traveled to several continents to enrich her studies of plants and consciousness and dove deeper into her understandings of the Katuah bioregion in which she calls home.

Hundreds of classes in herbal studies and ceremonial worship in the Northwest, Northeast and Southeast have been the vital thread that keeps Mary Morgaine’s learning alive and growing. She is a story-collage artist, plant medicine woman, mother, writer, care-giver, gardener and certified yoga insructor. She teaches workshops and facilitates classes and circles focused on authentic lifestyle choices through her business Earth Dancers.

Mary Morgaine believes that without the health and vitality of our own "holy trinity": the body/mind/spirit, we are unable to serve the greater world to our highest potential.
